Engines & Empires Campaign Compendium (E&E) is a campaign sourcebook for the "gaslight-and-steamworks" science fantasy world of Gaia, which resembles Earth during the Victorian Era. Intended to work specifically with Labyrinth Lord, it is also largely compatible with Basic Fantasy, Swords & Wizardry, or with the original or Basic versions of Dungeons & Dragons that the clones are based upon. While E&E is not usable without one of those core books, the rules have been altered significantly with support for 36 levels, new classes, races, weapons including firearms, and so forth. The first two thirds of the book cover rule changes, with the latter portion detailing the setting, including a survey of the nations of the world and even the habitable portions of outer space.
