Castle Thadrian is the first of the "basic" (low level) modules supporting the
Engines & Empires (
E&E) setting. The adventure is intended to help introduce
Labyrinth Lord players to the setting, by providing an adventure that is essentially a dungeon crawl in a new world, rather than focusing on the character and narrative elements that drive
E&E games. The scenario takes place in a ruined Elysian (human) fortress that was abandoned and fell to ruin after the fay retook Avalon. The castle has hooded cultists, goblins, and a hidden Elysian treasure. For five to eight 1st level characters.
