Witches of N'Kai is a one-page roleplaying game inspired by the setting and themes from
Carcosa, an unofficial supplement to the original version of
Dungeons & Dragons. The game is set beneath the ruins of Yoth, in the caverns of N'Kai, where witches and warlocks seek occult power amidst the blasphemous spawn of the Great Old Ones. Uses the roll under level plus AC mechanic from
Searchers of the Unknown. Unlike the original game, characters can learn a new ritual every time they gain a level, though they are required to perform a sacrifice. Artifacts of a alien technology can be deciphered by a save. The names and powers of spawn are randomly generated.
