Notes on This Edition
Lacuna Part I. first appeared in the Winter 2004 edition of Daedalus e-zine. "First Attempt" is a reformatted, revised edition containing bonus material set in the Lacuna universe. "Second Attempt" combines material from First Attempt PDF and an overhauled rules system. Book details:62 pages. B&W illustrations. 6x9 "manual" size.

| 6 / 10 | g026r | The rulebook drips theme, the heartrate mechanic is quite interesting, and the rules themselves seem simple but effective. Unfortunately, when it comes to the setting chapter it seems like all the strange and mysterious bits hinted at in the rules suddenly get revealed, leaving the most uninteresting of the mysteries alone; simultaneously too revealing and not revealing enough. |
