Adapts the Elizabethan age to AD&D 2, with new kits, equipment, a timeline, historical essays, and three partly developed adventure ideas. Also includes how to handle magic and fantasy monsters in the setting. A colour map of Europe circa 1610 is bound into the book.

| 7 / 10 | Geburah | I found this to be one of the best TSR historical sourcebooks and a reasonably good gaming reference for the period. It's a shame the crunchy bits are all tied to AD&D 2nd Edition, something that seriously limits the book's appeal today. |
| 8 / 10 | Skiorht | Probably the best of all AD&D historical sourcebooks. Very good information and lots of good ideas for 17th century gaming. Too bad the 2nd ed. AD&D was one of the worst rules for this type of campaign. |
