A fantasy world advanced to a World War 1 era of technology, Secret of Zir'An presents a pulpy game of action and adventure. Several fantasy races, both traditional and new, are presented. Character creation and advancement functions based on a job system combined with free xp spending. The new Finess system functions as a simple value + roll vs. a standard difficulty, but with additional internal mechanics focused on exceptional success.

| 8 / 10 | Morfedel | The two things that keep me from rating this a ten are that they made some bad choices for some of the art usages in the book, making it hard to read at times, and that there are some subsystems I don't like. However, overall this is a great book! |
