| 5 + 5 | bardbloom | DragonMech. Steampunk meets D&D. Hulking mechanical monsters made by dwarves and gnomes,
powered by steam or magic or hordes of undead. Remarkably well-done and
stylish. [ Read Review ] |
| 4 + 3 | merb101 | Dragonmech. A rough but interesting setting for the D20/D&D 3.5 system. There is a lot of potential here, but based solely on the main book, it would take some work to run a good campaign. [ Read Review ] |

| 6 / 10 | Nightwalker | I really love this setting. Mech rules, however, are a pain in the ass. If you have the time to devote to understanding them (and players willing to do the same) you can easily convert them to another setting. The greatest downfall of this game is that it's d20. |
| 7 / 10 | Zounds! | A very vividly-imagined world, which I found far more interesting than the vast majority of D&D settings, compromised - although not crippled - by its awkward rules. Steam-tech devices are really not very powerful, and the mech rules interface clumsily with standard D&D combat, but the whole thing is definitely salvagable and usable with a bit of work. |
