A steampunk game based on the Fuzion engine set on an alternate history Earth, Victoriana is a fairly good game for those who do not mind the constant, heavy-handed social commentary against Victorian era social values; the characters are expected to be social rebels to varying degrees.
Notes on This Edition
Heresy Gaming, and the Victoriana Line, were sold to Cubicle 7 Entertainment in 2006. Cubicle 7 took over the development of the planned Victoriana 2nd Edition and the new 'Heresy Engine' system mechanics. | 7 / 10 | BigJackBrass | Questionable details, factual errors and dubious assumptions (I don't know about you but I'd much rather play one of the ruling class) tarnish an otherwise amusing and engaging game. The Fuzion rules actually do a pretty good job of supporting the game. |
