Dragon Warriors Book 1. Introduces the Knight and Barbarian classes, character generation, general game mechanics and combat rules, monsters, character progression and equipment. Contains one adventure.
A fantasy role-playing game reminiscent of D&D. The rules are primarily "roll-under", with an interesting mechanic for armour. The game world, Legend, is interesting for its dark fantasy approach; adventures in the series evoke themes of human folly, fallen greatness, and horror. Legend was later used as the setting for Dave Morris' "Blood Sword" gamebook series.
The Dragon Warrior series was published as a series of six novel-sized paperbacks.
