| 3 / 10 | Simple Man | Worst book I've ever gotten from Eden (This is a hard rating to make). As a lover of the film, I actually felt the book was far too centered on it and it's chief characters (it also over-used quotes from the film). The lamination is coming off the hardcover as well, bad production values compared to Angel and Buffy. It reminded me of the Serenity RPG in it's missing the point of it's own existence: to expand the universe to make it game-able, not just retell it. AoD just barely did any expanding with the few variant Deadworlds in the back. |
