An adaptation of the hit comic series, "The Authority". The comic was the first to do what the writer, Warren Ellis, labeled "widescreen" superheroics. The characters fought super-scale battles across the familiar landscapes of modern cities - locations were destroyed, people died and the fights just kept getting larger and larger. The first 12 issues were some of the best super-hero comic series of the late 90's, early 2000's.
The Authority RPG is an adaptation of that idea using the Guardians of Order Tri-Stat system and Wizards of the Coasts D20 system. The book is hardcover with 352 full-color pages.

| 5 + 4 | yorrick | The Authority RPG and Resource Book. SAS is not my favorite supers system, but this is an excellent resource for fans of the Authority comic regardless of your rules set. [ Read Review ] |

| 10 / 10 | Midnight the Clumsy | What can I say it uses the SAS Engine and its the Authority!! |
| 4 / 10 | Simple Man | Brilliant artwork, mostly or entirely taken from the licensed comic. The system herein is SAS Tri-Stat, but the lack of specific help GMing supers makes this game somewhat less viable than SAS. |
