It's a dog's life is the only role-playing game where you can play an intelligent prairie dog adventuring on the plains of North America.

There is fantastic scope for role-play in this little game. The 51 pages of the main rulebook are stuffed full of legends and traditions, ideas for adventures, useful help for the GM in running a game on the prairie and lots of cool stuff for characters to do. The prairie dogs can fight if they have to, but they rely a great deal on the spiritual qualities of their feathers, which they can draw upon to increase their abilities. They also have 'magical' Barks, that can often get them out of the jaws of death!. There are two editions of the game. First is circa 2003, second is 2006.
