The second supplement to the original D&D introduces the monk and assassin classes (ironically, the same two classes that would be removed in the AD&D1 to 2 changeover). It also features underwater rules, hit location rules, and the first-ever RPG scenario, "The Temple of the Frog" (later released as DA2 for a much later version of D&D/Basic and as Temple of the Frog for d20).

| 2 + 2 | Scott Casper | Dungeons & Dragons Supplement II: Blackmoor. Blackmoor was the original campaign and this was its first published supplement. It holds up poorly to examination today, but it is still a worthwhile endeavor for anyone interested in the history of gaming or "Old School" gaming. [ Read Review ] |

| 7 / 10 | RobertEdwards | Obsolete now, but quite inovative for it's time. Includes the first published RPG adventure: "Temple of the Frog". |
