Pulp Hero is Hero Games' genre sourcebook for none other than the pulp genre, particularly the sort with lost temples, two-fisted adventurers and all that jazz.
The meat of the book is exhaustive examination of the evolution of the pulp genre, including how and to what end stories were written and printed, tropes and all that, plus how character traits can be translated into HERO terms, resulting in fun powers like Getta Load'a Her! and I Know How to Do That.

| 10 / 10 | John Desmarais | Without doubt, the best genre supplement ever written for doing Pulp-style role-playing games. Even if you don't play Hero this back has a lot of good stuff in it for the fans of Pulp RPGs. |
| 10 / 10 | ghost-angel | Pulp Gaming at it's best! Even if you're not a Hero player this book has something for you. A very large chunk of the book is dedicated to the classic Pulp Era of the pre-WW2 world. With details on countries and events. It also goes into great deal on the Pulp Hero Arhcetypes as seen in classic Pulp literature and movies. |
