Before the Europeans came, the ancient Americans called their home the Pure Lands. Three tribes of Garou lived here: Three brothers called Uktena, Croatan, and Wendigo. Croatan Song details the history and society of the Pure Lands Garou, and the sacrifices made by middle brother Croatan to repulse the Wyrm's first footholds there.
