GURPS Traveller: Sword Worlds is similar to the sector books Behind the Claw (the Spinward Marches) and Rim of Fire (the Solomani Rim), but only covers a single subsector. The Sword Worlders are Earth-descended humans who have been continually at war with each other and external forces, most recently losing a war against the Third Imperium.

| 3 + 4 | Daron Patton | GURPS Traveller Sword Worlds. The book is useful as a generic setting reference but it is heavily Travellerized. If you are looking to develop some star systems for a campaign for your sci-fi RPG, I recommend checking out this book. If you’re doing that expanding for a Traveller game, I can recommend it even more.

| 4 + 5 | ShannonA | GURPS Traveller: Sword Worlds. One of the best Traveller setting books around, Sword Worlds should be on the bookshelf of any Traveller GM running in the Spinward Marches. [ Read Review ] |

| 9 / 10 | ShannonA | A very thorough look at the Sword Worlds, drenched in scientific authenticity, filled with great adventure hooks, and also visually attractive. |
| 8 / 10 | g026r | Personally, my favourite of the sector books, as I find it addresses many of the flaws I found in Behind the Claw. |
