Game Summary
"The Storytelling Game of Passion and Horror"

Players assume the roles of ghosts who have been stranded in an underworld that is stranger than life has prepared them for. They struggle against their own darker natures while striving to fulfill some of the goals they held in life and navigate a cutthroat and alien society of the dead.

Wraith is best known for having an "Angst" character trait and for instituting the position of Shadowguide -- a player at the table who takes on the role of the darker half of a character not his own. The Shadowguide can tempt, cajole, chastise, or sabotage this other character in the hope of eventually causing a more malevolent personality to emerge. Sometimes this Guide is the game master; other times, it is one of the other people at the table.
