Dread is an RPG that uses the Jenga (or "tower") as a symbol of hope of success and the corresponding horror of failure. If a character attempts an action where there is a a chance of failure, they must pull a block from the tower, and if the tower collapses the character fails and is also removed from the game. There are more options for complex tasks, sacrificing your character, and elective pulls. Characters are created by filling out a questionnaire.

| 9 / 10 | Four Color | Played this at Origins 2007. The "Tower" made our Dread adventure the one truly tense horror rpg I've played. |
