| 7 / 10 | Zachary The First | I'm a big fan of Castles & Crusades, which I feel combines the best of AD&D with the best of d20, but I would have liked to have seen a little bit more ease of reading out of the Quick Start guide. Still a nice product, though. |
| 5 / 10 | ShannonA | I'm not impressed by the C&C system which seems to combine the worst aspects of d20 and AD&D system with some added and unnecessary complexity. This particular quickstart earns some kudos because it really shows off how to write a simple adventure in such a way that it's really useful to a first-time gamemaster, full of simple explanations. Otherwise, I'd rate it below average based on the system alone. |
