| 4 + 4 | DangerDwarf | Castles & Crusades Players Handbook. A simple, easy to use system with quick game play and endless fun. Want to run a game without having to endlessly check the books for rules clarification? This game is for you. [ Read Review ] |
| 3 + 2 | hkbim | Castles and Crusades Players Handbook. This could have been a nice mix of rules-light, modern mechanics, and nostalgia. Unfortunately, nostalgia pummeled rules-light and modern mechanics into unconsciousness. [ Read Review ] |

| 10 / 10 | Zachary The First | An excellent, lighter d20 game that lets you learn the system and get down to gaming very quickly. The subsequent 2nd and 3rd printings have cleared up a lot of the earlier editing issues. Fleixible and modular, allowing you to import rules from various d20 games and classic D&D alike without much work. Great for novice gamers as well as veteran gamers who want a system easy to learn AND easy to tweak. |
| 8 / 10 | Lazarus | Old school style gaming at its best. It resembles, in all ways including layout, 1st edition AD&D, but with simpler, unified, and more understandable mechanics. |
