| 5 / 10 | Geburah | I found this particular game rather underwhelming, and I'm still trying to work out why. I think the die step system, as well as the whole concept of the Wild Card die (the PCs and some NPCs are exceptional *because* they have this extra die), are probably part of the problem. The much vaunted mass combat and chase rules also came as something of a disappointment to me. But mainly, I get the feeling it's a simple generic system that would be much better as a free download (check out the Test Drive rules) than as a full game. |
