| 8 / 10 | SJBenoist | Though the game does feature a few minor changes and clean-ups, this is actually a slick move by Paizo to keep the 3.5 PHB available. Well-timed too, as the WOTC version is getting increasingly hard to find. (9/2008) Note, all the basic races and classes (as of the Beta) have been "upgraded" in terms of power, to make them more appealing in light of later options appearing in various supplements. |

Haven't had any issues with using old 3.5 material, and great for tourney play thanks to the familiarity most players have with the basics. |
