10 / 10	VIABellum	The Dresden Files is probably my favorite series of novels, and the FATE system adapts to it flawlessly.
10 / 10	thargas	The FATE3 engine comes closest to being IMHO the perfect RPG experience. "Your Story" is a perfect implementation of the Dresden Files as an RPG.

10 / 10	Malkmaven11	The system is easy to understand, the setting is portrayed perfectly (right down to the notes left by Harry, Billy and Bob) and the creation system helps in uniting the party in more ways than one. Heck I'm currently in a Dresden game and I always leave a session wanting to know when the next one is cause it's so good. The price for the book is the only drawback but it's worth saving up for.

10 / 10	quizboy	This book is fantastic! (One caveat at the beginning--I really like the Dresden Universe; it strikes my fancy quite a bit.) I really like the way the book was written (from the point of view of the characters from the books), and the production values are fantastic. This makes it easy to read, and digest for an RPG book of this size. The play so far has been good (only played at con), but I've been working on character concepts for a long time. I am comparing play to other FATE systems I have tried, and expect this to be as good or better. I normally don't give out max scores in ratings, but I cannot think of a negative about the game. The closest to a negative I can come is that the two local groups I've seen interested in this game have not yet met to start it up. Right now, I expect that is due to scheduling and not the game. If you like the concepts from the books, magic, mysteries, or FATE, this would be a good book for you.

Even better for me since I don't play in Harry's world is that it's the best modern fantasy game I've ever played. I could go on gushing but I won't cause I've got gaming to do!

Not only is it an excellent and entertaining read but it is great for actual play as well. The only possible complaints I could have is there is the occasional bit that I don't find totally useful (like having Lycanthropes as one of the PC templates) where if they didn't put that in they could have put in more awesome.

10 / 10	myyrdneopia	An absospiffinglutely amazing rendition of Harry Dresden's universe. It comes with its own little quirks, which is good. The largest problem in my rpg group has come from members with years of D&D experience, and trouble getting their heads around not using numbers, and creating a story. However, the group is well on its way to overcoming that, now. In terms of character creation, Your Story has absolutely everything one needs. Not only does it give templates (and an index that covers both books!) and examples, but it also encourages the player to engage their imagination and to think outside the box. For there really is no box, no set structure for everything to fit into. Most of it is actually like guidelines, and those are as flexible as the players and GM can agree upon. All in all, it makes for a unique gaming experience every time. Not to mention the sheer amounts of FUN a group may have creating their characters and city. The brainstorming, working together, and consequent snarking by everyone has made the experience thus far absolutely amazing. One really does feel like they are in the world, that they are part of this band of heroes. Thank you, Fred (and everyone else!), for bringing this through to completion, and thank you, Jim, for allowing us to play in your sandbox.

I have to say that getting players to buy into a game is essential to them getting that feeling that they are really a part of the world, and their actions have real consequences. Not only does the world and character creation enforce this buy-in, but it actively encourages it. Congratulations to Evil Hat on a spectacular system and absolutely amazing production quantities. And to add real value, the side comments and discussions from our favorite characters really seals the deal.

9 / 10	Samael	This is the best fiction to RPG conversion I've seen - as such it deserves a 10. However, it also tends towards verbosity and obtuse language. Both tend to detract from the whole. It is redeemed somewhat by humorous sidebar commentary.

9 / 10	The_Levitator	I really dig this game! I admit to being biased towards all things Fudge/Fate, but I think they did a great job with this game! The only thing that prevented a 10 rating for me was that it's not really my genre of choice. I rarely play modern style games, and I have really enjoyed playing this one! And I'm not even a fan of the Dresden Files saga. Great work guys!!
8 / 10	Flexi	A handsome book with good comic book artwork. The Dresdenverse and urban fantasy rpgs do not appeal much to me but the book is scattered with interesting things to use in other FATE games. Useful glossary and reference pages at the back. Very good selection of NPC's statted out in it.
