10 / 10claesAbsolutely the best version of the Star Wars RPG.
10 / 10MenchiSimply the best Star Wars RPG to date. I love it, and the streamlined system makes d6 look positively out of genre!
10 / 10grubmanThis goes in my short stack of true classics! Refreshing to add a RPG to that stack, since it happens so infrequently.
10 / 10LazarusThis rating is for Saga Edition, which is perhaps the best d20 game on the market, and one of the best games invisioned. Finally, there's a Star Wars game which feels (to me) like Star Wars.
9 / 10JDCorleyI'm upgrading my rating because I got the SAGA edition and the improvements continue. As I said before, it's virtually impossible for WOTC to do as well as WEG did with this property because WEG did things so well for so long. But they have done the near-impossible with this line and can be very proud of what is one of the strongest d20 lines in existence.
9 / 10SteamPulpThis book has really brought enjoyment of the D20 system to the table. It gives a very fast, and cinematic feel to a genre that truly deserves it. No longer does a GM have to run games of 5 level characters to enjoy the game, 1st level characters are competent right out of the gate. An excellent game, even if you are not a fan of SW, buy the game for the new and improved D20 Saga ruleset.
8 / 10YoraI'm usually not a fan of d20 games, but of the countless number that exists of them, Star Wars Saga Edition is by far the best. And it works really well as a Star Wars game.
8 / 10rogue_stupidityThe update to Saga Edition was a great change, simplifying the skills and adding Talent Trees. It looks and feels more like Star Wars, in addition to being just plain more fun.
7 / 10Simple ManSaga edition is a worthy successor to d6. Perhaps not my favorite version, but then I've never gotten a chance to play SAGA.
7 / 10Tori BergquistHigh quality book, lots of info, but needs to customize the D20 system for the setting.
6 / 10fluffykins0A solid game.
6 / 10RodnarokAn improved implementation of the d20 System rules for SW versus the clunkier first edition. System priorities seem to favor prequel-era play, while the old WEG d6 game felt more geared to classic trilogy adventures. That's a totally non-objective opinion on my part, though. :)
6 / 10von Bek1977A travesty, Star Wars going d20! My first sight of the 3rd edition rules and they are certainly better than they used to be, but still useless
5 / 10TrippyHippyDespite being a professionally polished product, the worst aspect of this game is it's association with the Prequel trilogy. That is, rather than the free-wheeling, kitchen-sink, pulp style of the original Trilogy we get rules for a clunky, adolescent power fantasy in spaaace! Good luck at convincing players they should not all be Jedi....
5 / 10nseidenbThe W.E.G. version is much better.
5 / 10Nomad4lifeSaga Edition is a huge improvement over its predecessors, but it just didn't go far enough in taking the "clunk factor" out of the game. (The term "AoO" should never appear in a supposedly "streamlined" incarnation of D20.)
5 / 10ThanuirDoes not really capture the feel of Star Wars. Tactical fun, OTOH, can be had.
3 / 10jeremywolf81Extremely overhyped. In fixing SOME (and I mean SOME) of the errors in previous D20 editions they added a heap more. If I wanted an illustrated couple hundred page advertisement for their minis line I'd buy it, otherwise...

4 + 2Jamie HerbertStar Wars Core Rulebook. Well, At least the podrace scene was kinda cool,
2 + 1FlashFireStar Wars Core Rulebook. I suppose the game is better than a kick to the head, but probably not by much...
4 + 2Kyle MarquisStar Wars Core Rulebook. The D20 Star Wars RPG captures the spirit of Star Wars, but is marred by inconsistencies and incomplete information.
3 + 3tahrikmiliStar Wars Revised Core Rulebook. After reading 400 pages of rules all over, I now see why it isn't named 2nd edition - because it isn't up there just yet.
3 + 4pawsplayStar Wars Revised Core Rulebook. Basically, this is a fun game. If you like Star Wars, and you like leveling up, you'll probably be happy with this game. If its tactical focus and structured character development don't jibe with your narrative style, you may want to skip it.
5 + 4MenchiStar Wars Revised Core Rulebook. The definitive Star Wars Roleplaying Game. Showcases d20's Strengths and resolves many of d20's faults. Fun, atmospheric and ultimately faithful to the licence.
4 + 4novastarStar Wars Roleplaying Game Saga Edition Core Rulebook. Solid buy for fans of the previous d20 incarnations, a good buy for a fan of Star Wars getting into RPG's, fair buy for anyone looking at alternate systems for d20.
4 + 5Crimson ReaverStar Wars Roleplaying Game Saga Edition Core Rulebook. Lots of changes, all for the better, I'm off to press-gang some people to play this, you should too, may the Force be with you!
4 + 4Andrew MontgomeryStar Wars Roleplaying Game Saga Edition Core Rulebook. For Wizards of the Coast's Star Wars RPG, the third time is the charm. The new Saga edition is a tremendous improvement over its two d20 predecessors.
3 + 4C.W.RichesonStar Wars Roleplaying Game Saga Edition Core Rulebook. If you're a Star Wars fan, a d20 system fan, or just a fan of sharp, interesting game systems then check out Star Wars Saga!
5 + 4gridlockStar Wars Roleplaying Game Saga Edition Core Rulebook. The saga edition is an attractive product that is fun, fast to play and really captures the spirit of the Star Wars movies.
4 + 3James GillenStar Wars Roleplaying Game Saga Edition Core Rulebook. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooo
4 + 4ReceuviumStar Wars Roleplaying Game Saga Edition Core Rulebook. Saga is a solid structure that improves on a lot of elements of the standard d20 system, but it still leaves a lot wanting on the details.
