9 / 10	Ashigaru	The best and most accurate feudal Japanese roleplaying game to date. The rules system is uninspiring, but most of the book's content can be easily used with other systems.
8 / 10	BigJackBrass	In some ways a better sourcebook than it is a game. The Fuzion system is workable but dry, although if you combine it with the system variants on-line then there is a great deal of flexibility. This is a more serious approach to the subject than in many previous games, perhaps more suited to the historical gamer than the action fan.

4 / 10	Simple Man	Mix a dryly written history book and a lackluster, run-of-the-mill game system, I give you Sengoku. While the setting choice is admirable, couldn't they have picked a more interesting way to convey it than a history lecture?
