10 / 10ChillinghamStill one of the best ever Call of Cthulhu supplements. Who doesn't love visiting R'lyeh and facing Great Cthulhu himself!
8 / 10cj.23An excellent early Cthulhu book, while a little pulpy, with memorable themes, and a very dramatic ending. Probably too lethal for the tastes of many modern gamers, but one of the best rpg books of the 80's in my opinion.
6 / 10deleriadAt the time it was stunning and helped define an era of gaming. But times have moved on. It was more than acceptable in the 80s.
6 / 10SkiorhtA great adventure for its time, but suffers in comparison to modern CoC adventures. PC lethality can easily be extremely high, and some of the encounters are rather nasty.
6 / 10ShannonAAmazing and innovative for its time. The first use of textual player handouts and a great example of a Cthulhu campaign. Less amazing today.
6 / 10JDCorleyPretty okay campaign. Suffers from the "how could we possibly be expected to try that" syndrome, as well as the deadly "I missed a roll, well, looks like the game's stopped" disease. Pandemic in those early days...
