In summer of 2002, Wizards of Coast requested submissions as part of a search for their new flagship setting. Out of more than 11,000 entires, only 11 were chosen as finalists, and only one won (in hindsight, Eberron). This issue includes a sampling of proposals that didn't make the final cut, submitted by their authors.
