A variation on the Star*Drive setting where the players take the role of "Men in Black"-style agents of the Concord Command ("Black Shield") who investigate External alien threats in the Verge. Stats out an illithid operative (B'rorithid, a level 5 biowarrior mind walker), a Xylos operative (M-Loi, a Fraal-Xylos mind walker mind knight), the Klick leader of Hammer's Star Asteroid (Kl' Kl' Klickic Kl), the illithid psi sword and exoskeletal armor, black shield cyber-implant (mental armor), and the black shield blast ring.
