March 26th, 1918. The sixth day of what will become known as Operation Michael, the
German’s first Great Spring Offensive along the Western Front.
Having achieved outstanding success, both with their new tactics and overwhelming numbers,
the German forces have driven the British back to the trenches they held in 1915. With the
Empire’s forces in disorder, and the French struggling to hold their line, rag-tag units are being
rushed to the front in the hope to delay the German advances.
For many this will be the first time they face action, while for others it is simply a return to the
struggle they have witnessed over the past 4 years. Regardless, as a few thousand men rush
to meet the might of the German army, our reluctant heroes will discover horrors even more
terrifying live in the world below.
