"The Burning Desert" deals with a conspiracy on Mercury, "Drums Along The Border" features intrigues involving settlers and native Lizardmen in the prehistoric jungles of Venus, "River of Life" features an expedition to the deepest subterranean caverns of the Moon, "Anarchy in the Ether" takes place aboard an orbital heliograph station, and "Ausonian Stalker" takes place in the sewers of Mars.
