The original Traveller rules existed in several variant forms. Most include the three core books: Book 1 - Characters and Combat, Book 2 - Starships, and Book 3 - Worlds and Adventures. Some also include an introductory Book 0 by Loren Wiseman and various adventures.

Notes on This Edition
The Traveller book compiled and slightly revised books 1-3, plus parts of book 0. It also included new material on the Spinward Marches and Regina. It further includes "Shadows", half of Double Adventure #1, and a miniscenario called "Exit Visa".
