A set of charts which form random city encounters. Fairly extensive, and thus a great springboard for off-the-cuff adventures.
Notes on This Edition
This is the first edition of
Cities. Midkemia Press didn't actually exist at the time, but it was founded by the time these indivuals published the second edition of their book, two years later.
This edition is broken into two parties: a city encounter table and a city catch-up table. The first describes what happens in the hurly burly of the streets, while the second describes longer periods of time.
This edition has a blue cover with black and white art on it. It's 64 pages long.
As with all the editions, this is pretty game-independent, though this version has some
D&D like stats, such as Charisma.
