There is also a short letter from a member of the Crimson Guard living in the opulence of the palace, details of the the blood magic of the jawless Crimson Guard (with 15 spells and 2 advantages), background on the snobbish Maemeck Matriarchy and their magical quelling (with 14 spells and 2 advantages), the Maemeck war-pick and blades for the Empress warrior paths (with 10 techniques and 1 advantage) and Upunzi numerical notation. The final component is the "Hall of Heroes", which lists those who contributed to the previous (seventh) supplement.
