5 + 5C.W.Richeson. The core setting book for Traveller, The Spinward Marches offers an excellent hard science setting filled with adventure opportunities for any group.
3 + 5ShannonA. At times dry and at times brilliant, The Spinward Marches should be the first book in the library of any Mongoose Traveller GM running a game in the area.

5 / 10paul_mitchenerHard to judge- it does a good job of introducing the Third Imperium, and I liked the description of the nobles and agencies, and adventure seeds. On the other hand, it is at times painfully dull. For me, the whole thing is "too spread out" (too little information on too many planets) to be useful.
8 / 10ShannonAThe description of Imperial agencies and the role that nobles take is one of the best I've ever read for the Traveller universe. The long description of the entire sector is a bit more dull, and I'm not convinced by the describe-two-worlds format, but I expect it to be frequently useful.
