Game Summary

There is a war. Angels and demons vie for supremacy over this world. Demons are repugnant, malicious, and destructive. Angels are worse.

You are a supernatural warrior on the front lines. Your mission is to hold back the armies of Heaven, to prevent them from obliterating a sinful and unrepentant humanity. You are outnumbered. You are expendable. You are a Zealot, and you are the only thing standing between the human race and utter annihilation.

Spite is a new game from Neoplastic Press, the publishing imprint of video game writer-designer Rafael Chandler.

A fast-paced game of supernatural horror-action, Spite is powered by the Disciple-12 rules system, which uses d12 pools for quick conflict resolution.

Spite is about Zealots, ordinary people who are recruited to fight the Last War against the angels that hunt sinners and saints alike. Armed to the teeth, wielding spectacularly powerful magic, Zealots wage their war in the shadows -- until it spills into the streets with devastating results.

The game features 99 gut-wrenching spells, including Credendum, Fiat Lux, and Apophasis. There are 88 angels, including the sadistic Rephaim, the merciless Seraphim, the Zealot-hunting Nephilim, and the monstrous Ophanim.
