Dark Ages Basic Rules is the basic system from Dark Ages: Vampire , minus all the vampire-specific details, optional rules, advice, and other secondary material. There are also some rules on weapons and combat from the Spoils of War sourcebook. Basic Rules is intended to allow players to use Dark Ages: Mage, Werewolf, Inquisitor, and Fae without needing Dark Ages: Vampire. Includes the rules, character creation, and an appendix with a bestiary.
