Despite the name, this fanzine actually covers the version of D&D known as Moldvay or Mentzer or Red Box or Basic or B/E/C/M/I or Rules Cyclopedia D&D, not the original 3-Volume Set or the Holmes Basic Set from the 1970s. Though for the majority of the articles this doesn't matter, since all pre-3E versions of D&D are fairly compatible. After the 2010 revival, the default system of choice became the compatible Labyrinth Lord.
