A fan 'zine that went through a number of formats. Originally printed on a single sheet of paper (both sides) and only available to those who sent a SASE to the author, Iridia has also experimented with the digest format, a subscription model, and even a few hand-written issues. Older versions were eventually made available on the website as PDFs, and many issues are accompanied by a video segment (on YouTube) or a podcast.
Each issue generally has only a small handful of articles, often one. Systems old and new are covered, most commonly D&D v3.5, Basic D&D (later, the Labyrinth Lord version), and GURPS 4th edition, but also Star Frontiers, Traveller, Twilight: 2000, and others. Material is drawn from the author's campaigns, as well some material adapted from the older 'zine
Scrollworks. Many of the pieces are short and introduced by a vignette. Articles often contain character write-ups, maps, and background material. Other common topics are miniatures, especially how to make terrain, and reviews.
