Game Summary
A source book for 1930s 'pulp' using Savage Worlds.

Includes coverage of pulp and the 1930s, rules on writing and running pulp adventures using the Savage Worlds rules and a 'Plot Point' serial adventure The Crimson Emperor.

Much of the material is identical to that in the d20 Modern source book Thrilling Tales: Omnibus Edition! (with the d20 rules substituted for Savage Worlds and the addition of The Crimson Emperor adventure), to the extent that it can be considered a new edition.

4 + 4Desert Fox. An excellent distillation of pulp genres well matched to Savage Worlds rules. The writers have managed to bring in some ideas uisng newer 'design' appraoches that give players greater control over gameplay. Well-researched , offering the reader some genuinely fresh insight at times into the preoccupations of the Pulp period.
