Long Live the Fighting Men and Magic-Users!!! Adventurer's Handbook is a simple roleplaying game. Intended for gamers with little spare time, it is designed for one-shot play and thus has no rules for character advancement. Subscribing to the class-as-race philosophy (dwarves, elves and halflings as well as warriors and wizards are represented), each character is rated in three combat abilities (Armed, Ranged, and Unarmed), Spellcasting, Luck, four types of resistance (Magic, Avoidance, Fortitude, and Willpower), and the ability to deal and absorb damage (Damage Number and Wounds). Uses a 2d6 roll under mechanic (abilities generally range from 3 to 11, and lower is better). There are short lists of equipment and spells.
The author was inspired by Chainmail's 2d6 mechanic and the theme of OD&D. Similar in feel if not specifics to Melee and Wizard (the precursors to The Fantasy Trip).
