Game Summary

Elegia is an medieval fantasy roleplaying game that attempts to wed together principles from both retro (8-bit) video games and the old school tabletop RPG movement. One aspect of this is that the game is aggressively unattached to any particular setting. In the spirit of the plug-in cartridges from console games, the GM and players to create a new world after each campaign. The game has four attributes (Strength, Dexterity, Intelligence, and Willpower), three races (Man, Elf, Dwarf, and Hob), and four classes (Knight, Monk, Wizard, and Rogue), and a dozen skills. Attacks are resolved by rolling 2d6, adding an Accuracy bonus, and comparing to the target's defense.
