Game Summary

Genetically-engineered army vets return home from war to find themselves social outcasts. Programmed to think of themselves as American superheroes, the vets find themselves at odds with their country's way of life. They band together as guerilla vigilantes, fighting corporate greed and political corruption.

Contains an overview of the world in 2020, character creation, equipment lists, combat rules and other game mechanics, and an interesting method of modelling the effects of a party's actions on social standards in their neighborhood.

4 + 5WJMacGuffin. Dark superheroes with shades of Blade Runner, Vietnam, and a Tarantino film. This is what awesome looks like.

9 / 10AriolanAlthough I have a hard time grasping how anyone could entertain a long-term campaign with this one, and some concepts are downright weird (human meat anyone ?), this is a piece of art in its own right. I have been reading and re-reading it for the past 15 years, ever since it appeared in shops.
7 / 10LxndrAlthough somewhat dragged down by "art bloat" this is a fun game with a very interesting character creation system that really gets you into what the character must have gone through and rules for actually changing neighborhoods with your actions.
