The Bremen Town Musicians is a roleplaying game inspired by a Grimm Brothers' fairy tale. Both the story and the RPG focus on a band of assorted animals (cats, dogs, donkeys, or roosters) who decide to travel to Bremen to become Town Musicians, and have various adventures along the way. The animals are relatively normal (all but the rooster are even considered old and infirm), so while they can communicate with other animals, they unable to talk to humans or use tools.
Each animal is defined by a fairly standard set of attributes (with the exception of voice, which represents the animal's supposed talent at music), and a very limited set of skills and innate abilities (3 and 2, respectively). Tasks are resolved by rolling 3d6, and taking the median result. This is added to the relevant attribute or skill, and compared to a target number.
