No one really knows how the plague began. Some say it was a government experiment gone wrong. Others claim ancient curses; alien involvement; a sinister corporate conspiracy; or possibly some long forgotten cheese sandwich found late one night at the back of a lab fridge by a hungry grad-student.

Regardless of how it began, the plague has been unleashed and the shambling dead haunt the land, looking to feed upon the living.
