Notes on This Edition
A leather-bound edition of the 5.6 rules, produced for Call of Cthulhu's 20 anniversary. This marks the first use of the attractive ripped-pages layout later used in Cthulhu 6.0. Otherwise, the edition is similar to the 5.5 update.
This edition shipped in two forms: a generally available edition and a 300-copy limited edition. They're differentiated by the color of the elder sign on the cover (red for the general, gold for the limited). The limited edition also has a page tipped in with signatures from the four members of Chaosium.
