Masks is a mashup of the 1980s Marvel Super Heroes, and Icons (which is in turn a conflation of MSH and Fate). Masks adopts the resolution method from Icons, including opposed rolls and the use of Fudge dice (4dF), and uses Fate-style Aspects (instead of MSH's Karma). Powers are also largely drawn from the Icons supplement, Great Power!. The contributions of MSH include the quasi-geometric ranks (2, 4, 6, 10...).
