Desperado is a Weird West tabletop RPG, designed to be easy to understand, while still allowing for in depth and interesting gameplay. The mechanics are flexible, and are made to be used with the included setting, historic settings, or added to another setting.

-Weapon Advancement system for technology to advance as a campaign advances, revealing faster and more deadly weaponry with time

-Free and flexible spellcasting system where all characters are able to use spells

-A dedicated system for summoning demons to make a deal, either selling one's soul for powers and aid, or gambling to get this aid for free, potentially losing the bet and losing one's soul without any aid

-Legendary Items system where a character's items can gain magical powers as the character becomes the stuff of legends
