A 176-page book containing six 1920s scenarios for Call of Cthulhu. They can be played independently or as a linked campaign. Of the six scenarios, five involve a Great Old One to some extent and the sixth deals with an avatar of an Outer God.

The concluding adventure in the book, Marcus L. Rowland's "Bad Moon Rising", is often considered a Call of Cthulhu classic.
