Game Summary

The Kaiin Player's Guide details the metropolis at the terminus of the Scaum River, and game specific statistics is minimal to non-existent.

The information contained in the book is what a well-informed local resident would pick up over the years, and is intended to be read by the players. There is no "Game Master's" guide, and none of the usual hidden secrets or metaplot written for the GM's eyes only. Instead, each neighborhood has a "rumors" section, and players are encouraged to select their favorites and have their characters run off to pursue them. Since players choose them based on their own interests, the GM is not forced to come up with plot hooks to engage them. The trade-off is that the GM is expected to improvise the subsequent escapades in a free-form fashion.
