Game Summary

The Throne of Bloodstone is the final publication in the 4-module Bloodstone Pass Saga. Designed for the highest level characters of any AD&D adventure ever published, it is billed as being suitable for characters of levels 18–100, and has advice on handling characters of such lofty levels. The module uses the Battlesystem miniature rules, and includes a number of encounters intended to be too tough for even a group of 100th-level characters to handle by themselves. The basic plot sends the PCs to the Abyss, where they have to steal fabled Wand of Orcus, and along the way they face a hordes of demons and liches, and a surprising number of demigods and demon princes.

From the back cover:

The battle between the mighty undead army of the Witch-King of Vaasa and the forces of Bloodstone Pass has come to a standstill. As long as the source of the Witch-King'ss power is at work, his evil forces will never be defeated! As the rulers of Bloodstone Pass, it is up to you to find and destroy the source of Vaasa's power. All you have to do is journey to the Abyss, confront the mightiest demon of all, steal the Wand of Orcus, and take it to the Seven Heavens to be destroyed.

4 / 10Scrivener of DoomSome interesting stuff for an 18th or so level adventure. The 100th level stuff is just crap with a capital "K".
6 / 10GyrfalconA decent high-level adventure, though the 'ultra-high-level' tips are a waste of space.
